Amanda + Dan June 27, 2020

Do you guys know the scene in Dumbo where they have to set up tents and the entire circus in the rain…during the night? No matter the elements they set up the circus and it was ready for guests the next day. Seems like a weird start to a wedding sneak peek blog but let me tell you about this awesome couple who pulled off an AMAZING backyard wedding during covid, storms, and yes even back surgery!

Dan & Amanda have worked tirelessly to get their yard and home ready to celebrate with their friends and families. Two weeks before wedding day I received a text that said the wedding was back on! You see this lovely couple had to cancel their wedding due to covid restrictions. As I jumped for joy I also thought; “How was all this going to work?” I was reassured when I talked to Amanda and realized she didn’t care what the final outcome was as long as she was MRS! It was a beautiful, warm June day when Dan & Amanda said I do and started their new lives as Mr & Mrs.

Amanda and Dan are a wonderful couple who know how to have a good time. Amanda is full of joy and her desire to marry Dan could not be beat by Covid or anything else that stood in their way. She wanted to officially be Mrs. Rehmann! Her joy radiated during our first meeting to her wedding day. She remained flexible and remembered that having the right groom is all that mattered. Working with her family and her bridesmaids you could tell Amanda has support and relationships that will withstand all odds. Surrounded by her deep roots she and her girls made it to her wedding day and were absolutely stunning!

Dan compliments Amanda perfectly and will continue to be her forever match. Starting a life together has its challenges but these two are more than ready. Dan has a calming presence about him with energy that will keep a party going! He and his guys helped make it a day to remember. Dan holds true to what is important in life, hard work and those you have by your side.

You don’t need much when your love is the theme for your wedding. A gorgeous backyard wedding with friends and family was the perfect way to ring in their new life together. Ferns and other greenery from Red Top Farm Market welcomed you in each new space as you moved throughout the wedding day. Wonderful food by Michael’s Event Catering was served under a huge tent trimmed with lighting. A gorgeous bridal party dressed in sage and tan with not a hair out of place. A glowing bride dressed in white lace in love with her new husband! Everything was perfect! I was able to work with a great second shooter who also enjoyed the natural beauty of Dan & Amanda’s wedding. Special shout out to my second shooter, Sarah! The food, delicious! The music, lively! The day, perfect! Thank you Amanda and Dan for letting me join you in such a special day. I know it took a lot of patience to get to this day but you got here, together! All the best as you start this new chapter of husband & wife.
