Mary Catherine + Trevor | An Early September Wedding
There is a small part in each of us that longs for the small town love story.
The friendship formed from growing up together. The struggle of watching the other date as you start to gain relationship level feelings for them. The conversation of: “Would this mess up our friendship if we dated?” The success story and a life ahead with your best bud.
These two have that story.
Growing up together in a small South Jersey town. Siblings who knew one another. A long courtship that ended with a fairy-tale wedding in their home state.
Growing up together, forming a solid friendship, and marrying your friend also means there is a good chance that your families are friends…
This family grew in size and personality with both sides coming together. Siblings laughed, dads joked, moms hugged as the two families were brought together.
Team bride was stunning in different shades of ocean blue and team groom was strong in their gray suits and special socks. Together with all the guests in an intimate patio garden setting, the couple professed their love and commitment to one another.
Trevor and Mary Catherine both have a heart of service. One an officer and the other a teacher. They love others and wanted to honor not only those who were part of their special day, but those who have supported them and will continue to support them.
This couple knows how to have fun and added their unique flair to their wedding in many subtle and not so subtle ways. From the photographs of those who couldn’t join to their dogs as the signature cocktails, this coupled added little hints of them throughout. One special touch and not so subtle hints of their personalities was shown during the bridal party entrances.
We are all use to bridesmaids and groomsmen coming in with different dances: wheelbarrow, fist bumps, etc…but this couple made sure the littles were not left out. Their ring bearers and flower girl stole the show when it came to reception introductions.
As the lyrics of country songs thundered across the reception hall the littles arrived in a Chevy, a police car, and a horse. With huge smiles on their faces they joined the others in the bridal party to await the introduction of the NEW Mr & Mrs Hall.
The evening continued with speeches, a wonderful meal, and memories that will forever stream though the couples memory. Adventures come in all shapes and sizes. Memories come from big and small moments. Preserving your story is such an honor. From the sweetest Daddy daughter first look, to the early awaited first kiss…wedding day is full of these special memories.
Trevor and Mary Catherine, thank you so much for letting me be there for all the moments on your wedding day. Getting to know you both, watching you interact, laughing with your family. It has all been such a joy and honor. All the best as you continue as husband and wife. Remember, not all adventures have to be larger than life. Cherish all the moments, make the day to day an adventure, and capture your time not only with a camera but in your hearts and minds.
