Rachel & Kyle

“Just remember to look at each other and laugh.”

Rachel’s dad gave such wise advice to his newly wed daughter. Works that sound so similar to my purpose behind #everydayadventures.

Life is hard. Marriage does have low points. Being able to laugh together when nothing feels right is a learned skill. Creating the everyday dull moments into adventures is a learned craft.

Kyle and Rachel dated for 12 years before saying I do in front of their loved ones. A small group of friends and family gathered around a stunning stone fireplace as the couple was reminded of the commitment they were making. The Madison was a wonderful venue where celebrating a couple’s love story is not work but art. Tom made sure to keep guests content and the wedding day flowing with his one of a kind personality. When a venue makes your couple feel so loved you know you have winning staff.

The couple’s cocktail hour and reception all flowed nicely together into an evening of laughter and celebration. Heart felt blessings from both fathers and speeches from Rachel’s sisters and Kyle’s brother started our evening off. The party started and everyone rocked the night away. From a dry ice first dance to glow sticks on the dance floor. These guests were going to make sure it was a night to remember.

Rachel’s dress fit her perfectly. A sweetheart neckline with elegant lace all leading to a fabulous train. Her girls stood by her side in a stunning green. Kyle and his gentlemen were dashing in their gray suits, Kyle with a white tie and the rest in green ties.

Kyle & Rachel,

Thank you so much for letting me join in the celebrating and allowing me to be part of your magical day. I hope you look back and never forget about the heat ;) and how much love was shown for you both by your loved ones and by one another. I have to agree with dad here, always laugh. It is a skill that makes the years fly by and the hard moments pass. Help one another stay light hearted and be the soft place for the other to always know is there. A place of rest from the weariness of this world. A place of safety. A place of laughter.

All the best to you both…now, GO HAVE AN ADVENTURE!

Steph
