John & Kristanne - Let the Magic Begin - South Jersey Harry Potter Venue
Present with other Muggles surrounded by canopying lights and books reaching to the ceiling we watched as true magic unfolded before our eyes.
The muggles laughed and cried as the two standing before them exchanged magical heartfelt words. John’s vows for his bride were rich with love and laced with laughter. Kristanne’s vows brought a few tears to her wizard of a husband.
Love can be true magic. If we allow it to grow in an environment of joy and respect. When you watch these two interact with each other you know they have something magical. Something that will withstand time. Something many muggles search for. John looks at his bride with soft loving eyes and smiles as he takes in her every move. Kristanne is always smiling or laughing as she watches her groom.
To say that Harry Potter holds a special place in this relationship would be an understatement. They are the ultimate Harry Potter fans. Their wedding day not only tastefully displayed Harry Potter themed decor but the entire venue clothed in brick and beautiful stone work made us all feel like we were entering Hogwarts. The Moorestown Community House was the perfect location for these two. Rich in history and architecture this venue was the perfect backdrop for these two wizards with all their muggle friends to dance the night away.
There is more to these two than they let on. Yes, they are fun loving and full of energy. But, when you get to know them. When you really get to interact with them. You start to see something not many couples have. A rich kindness that holds dear to relationships, memories, and the moment. A rawness that makes you fall in love with both of them and cherish your time spent. A love that knows how to heal.
After a ceremony that one could only expect from stepping off the station at 9 & 3/4 everyone gathered in the ballroom for a special dance. The newlyweds started to dance together like most couples do, then they both stopped and had two special girls join them on the dance floor. All four of them started to dance hand in hand together in a first family dance.
Yaya, clothed in Gryffindor, was then lead to the dance floor by his little girl. Kristanne and him shared such a magical moment on that dance floor. As they both continued to dance it was like the rest of the room started to disappear. Everyone was focused on their relationship.
Time began to tick again once Yaya was finished his dance. Four wonderful toasts were given from siblings and friends. Again, full of laughter and tears. Each special in their own magical way.
I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to mention the time these two put into the details. Everything was thought out with love especially one particular display in the foyer. Filled with beautiful photos of those that could not join physically, reminding us all that “the ones that love us never really leave us.”
Throughout the day Harry Potter music graced you as you traveled from ceremony, to cocktail hour, and then to the reception. We all knew when the bass dropped it was not long Harry Potter time but in-fact party time. The dance floor filled with muggles surrounding the newlywed wizards and they danced the night away. Rob kept them coming back for more as he navigated the party.
John & Kristanne,
Thank you so much for sharing your love, your family, and your magical day with this mere muggle. It was truly an amazing day full of wonderful memories. You made a beautiful commitment in front of all your muggle friends…to love forever. Keep the magic of love alive daily, work for it, and keep holding onto the moments that make you stronger together. These moments don’t need to be extravagant - they can be simple. Remember, “the stories we love best, live in us forever.”
All the best to you both as you continue on as HUSBAND & WIFE!!!!!
