details

The first 30min of wedding day for your photographer, after saying hey and getting to know your bridal party, will be details. There are a few things you can do to help ensure this part runs smoothly and STRESS FREE!

  1. Keep track of your items from day one. If you have a system to organize - organize! If not then use this time to start one!

  2. Double check this bag/box a few days before wedding day to make sure it is good to go.

  3. Assign one bridesmaid (usually maid of honor) to be in charge of this box/bag. When they see me they can give me these items right away.

  4. Remember that the following list is from what I have seen over the years, you may not have all these items and that is just fine. This is not a list to make you feel like you need to run out and buy more but ideas that you might not know about and want.

  5. If you have any small left over details from the rest of your wedding day decor add it to the detail box. Your photographer might not use all the items but to keep it unique and true to you these items may be helpful! (I loved using some of the one of a kind succulent planters that a bride made for her guests in her details.)

  6. If you are eloping, remember to still pack up some of your details! Plan for safe packing in your pack. Also, plan ahead with how to safely transport your florals in your travel pack! I have had success with paper towel rolls as added support and towels (or change of clothes) in the bottom of a bag. Oh, and throw in some extra socks!
