Wedding/elopement Day!
It has finally arrived! The day you have been planning. Whether it is a traditional wedding or an elopement you want to savor each moment and enjoy all the hard work that lead you to this one moment!
Wedding day can be stressful we know that and can relate.
Here are a few tips from your photographer to help some of that stress!
Review your timeline. Your timeline is guide to capture all the moments you want to savor forever. Remind yourself of all the major times. If you are eloping make sure you know time and locations for different events especially if there is no cell service.
Call your florist. Next time you’re talking with your florist ask them to save the flowers that don’t make the bouquet. These are great to have for your detail photos! Also, remind them to deliver the flowers to you - not the ceremony location.
Detail bag! Have all your details ready to go in one box or bag. This helps the morning go smoothly and allows your photographer to start off with all your details. What to included? Check out that list full of ideas here.
Lighting. If your ceremony location is dark be sure to test your lighting and how you want the lighting BEFORE wedding day. You don’t want to be rushing around the morning of your wedding day testing lights. Also, remember that if your photographer turns lights off for photos - they know what they are doing trust them, it is usually so skin tones look more natural when inside.
Heel stoppers, especially if you are wearing heels and want outdoor photos. This will help you not sink into the ground.
Remember to eat, treat yourself and have a filling breakfast with your favorite people, bring snacks to the getting ready room, and eat the dinner and cake you planned for.
Last but not least….HAVE FUN! By this point what done is done and what isn’t doesn’t matter. Remember, all that matters is having the RIGHT PERSON by your side. All the rest are extra sprinkles.
